If you are interested in the background behind this product here it comes. I made this rail for my daughter when she first moved out of our home. Few years later my granddaughter inherited the rail in her nursery. Neither my daughter nor I thought much about the rail, until Aurora (my granddaughter) started lifting herself up, crawling and walking. This rail & shelf has been a hit! She comes to the shelf to play with her toys, take them out, explore – all by herself in Montessori style.  
 
I highly recommend it if you are looking for something for your baby/toddler/child.
